Have you lost your card or has your card been stolen?
We're so sorry to hear that. The great news is, we can assist you with getting this resolved.
First, please reach out to us via chat or email. You can find a helpful article on how to do so here.
Here's what happens when you dispute a charge from a lost or stolen card:
1. Your card will be canceled and we'll send you a new Dave card within 8-10 business days.
2. You'll immediately receive temporary credit while we investigate the dispute.
Look out for an email from Synapse with Dave cc'd notifying you of your credit. You should receive this notification within 2 days of filing your dispute.
Investigations can take up to 90 days. For more information about investigations, check out our Checking Policies under section 4: Electronic Funds Transfer Disclosure and Special Terms and Conditions.
Once the investigation is complete, Synapse will notify you within 3 days that:
1. The charge was proven fraudulent and the provisional credit is all yours.
2. The merchant provided evidence that no error occurred.
In this case, your provisional credit will be withdrawn from your account. Any documents used in the investigation will be available to you upon request.
